HI, I'M PTASHKA
In 1998, my parents initially decided to name me Vasylyna in honor of my mom's ex. Thankfully, after some spirited discussions with my grandma, they settled on calling me Ania, in tribute to her. Ptashka was her maiden name. Everything I create today is deeply personal, so welcome inside Ania.
I've organized this page into two sections: one featuring colorful drawings that capture the absurd tragedy of my life's backdrop, and the other exploring a darker, more sensual aesthetic that I'm deeply fond of.
There are still many untold stories that I haven't put to paper yet, but I'll keep this page updated as I create new drawings. Also new stories will come as life throws new traumas my way, so stay tuned or feel free to participate.
